I haven't cared to comment too much on the Roy Moore situation except for this video, because it’s hilarious: https://youtu.be/K1TGn0UfFpE But the hysterics about that election present an opportunity to point out the need for greater decentralization. It shows that too much power has been delegated to the federal government, when people in some states feel the need to screech hysterically about the scumbags and retards (or heroes and geniuses) who are running for office in other states. If nothing else, it's an opportunity to point out the value of the 9th and 10th amendments of the U.S. Constitution. I thought about this after the presidential election. If half the country is going to loose its shit every 4 or 8 years, why don't we not give this one person so much power. Better for half a city or half a state to loose its shit than half the country.
